Cambridge Volunteer Fire & Rescue - Mat Kahler, Fire Chief
The Cambridge Volunteer Fire and Rescue crew provides Fire and EMS services for Cambridge, Iowa, and the surrounding communities. The volunteer department is set up to accommodate 21 firefighters, many of which are trained medical professionals. The volunteers provide fire, extrication, and emergency medical services to the City of Cambridge and Union Township, which includes 8 miles of I-35. It is also a mutual aid with surrounding communities and provide education on fire prevention and safety for our own community.
